Position Summary:

Client Transportation Specialists demonstrate the highest levels of customer service and acceptance for all clients, visitors and staff to assure that the behavior modeled as a Modus leader is congruent with the agency mission and values.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing safe, reliable transportation for Modus Drive clients to medical and social service appointments; Providing a welcoming experience for all Modus clients; and, Ensuring the behavior modeled as a Modus team member is congruent with the agency’s mission and values.

EXPERIENCE WE LOVE:

• Proven experience working with underserved populations is preferred.

• Proven experience working in the non-profit sector is a plus.

• Capability to provide a level of comfortable and inclusive service to all Modus clients.

• Demonstrates exceptional capability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Intermediate administrative skills (record keeping, reporting)

• Advanced problem-solving skills.

• Capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.

• Proficient in basic computer applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, and internet usage.

• Proficient in learning and operating new technology.

• Demonstrates capability to conduct one’s self in a calm and professional demeanor when dealing with the public and/or with difficult situations.

• Ability to work well with a diverse group of clients, staff and volunteers.

• Willingness to adjust hours to accommodate the needs of the job.

• Ability to effectively manage a wide array of tasks, projects, and responsibilities.

• Ability to work productively in an unstructured environment with a team, where frequent interruptions may occur.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Must have a clean driving record.

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Must have a clean vehicle in good working condition.

Must have proof of vehicle registration.

• Must have proof of vehicle insurance.

• Compensation: $15 per hour

• Hours: 15-25 hours per week

• Shifts available: Monday-Friday; morning (8:30-12:30) afternoon (12:30-4:30)
